Visiting Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse Halifax, Nova Scotia
Visiting the Peggy’s Cove lighthouse is a must if you are spending any time in Halifax Nova Scotia.Peggy’s Cove is one of the first places I checked out when I moved to Halifax, and it’s worth the short trip from downtown Halifax!
When you’re visiting the Peggy’s Cove lighthouse, there is a delicious restaurant and gift shop to visit as well. I love grabbing a coffee or hot chocolate when I visit because it helps to keep me warm. The wind at Peggy’s Cove can make things quite chilly, so be sure to bring at least a sweater even if you’re visiting in the summer!
If you’re looking for free things to do in Halifax, be sure to add Peggy’s Cove to the list because it’s completely free and you can easily spend half a day there exploring the nature, the fishing village and the different shops and art galleries.
If you’re not able to check out the lighthouse in person, you can also view the Peggy’s Cove webcam here.
Check out the pictures of Peggy’s Cove lighthouse below from a few of the trips I’ve made since moving to Halifax Nova Scotia.
