In a hurry? TL;DR this is the best travel umbrella I would recommend!
It’s been quite gloomy here in Halifax lately, and it’s not planning to die down any time soon with a big rainstorm heading this way in a few days. I was able to sneak out this morning during a break in the rain to grab my coffee, which is just as well since my umbrella isn’t working properly.
When I open it, it doesn’t stay open, so it slowly closes around my head as I walk, which really isn’t ideal as you may imagine. It’s a small umbrella for travel that I bought without any research involved which clearly was a mistake on my part, looking back (hindsight is 20/20 as they say).
Since dealing with this, I began thinking about how this would be such a pain in the butt if I were actually counting on this umbrella working during my travels. I think it’s time to retire this specific umbrella, so I have begun looking up some that are going to be able to keep me dry, and you know, hopefully keep themselves open for more than 2 minutes haha.
I thought that some of this research might actually come in pretty handy for some of you fellow travelers. When you travel, you don’t want to have to worry about anything breaking down on you, umbrella included. I also understand not wanting to spend a crazy amount of money on something like an umbrella. During my current Amazon search, I’m finding that there are actually some really wonderful travel umbrellas available for under $30!
