Val di Fassa – Italy

Made up of seven towns and villages, Val di Fassa is in the middle of the biggest ski area in the world, yet maintains the small town charm of the northern Italian mountains.

Whether you’re a beginner looking to try your first solo ski or snowboarding trip, or you’re extremely comfortable on the slopes and are ready to try your next singles holiday, Val di Fassa has the package and deal for you.

The resort itself has everything you could desire, from an indoor ice skating rink to a swimming pool, ensuring you’ll be plenty entertained whether you’re up the mountain or relaxing after a day in the snow. Val di Fassa also has a wide variety of restaurants and bars where you and you’re new friends will be able to relax and enjoy your holiday.

This resort also has some of the best clubs and parties so if you’re looking for some night life with your singles ski vacation, you’re in the right place.

Hotel Alex – Switzerland

One of the most beautiful hotels in Zermatt is Hotel Alex. You’ll be surrounded by a third of Europe’s 4000 meter peaks with the Matterhorn in view throughout your time on the slopes. Some of this resort’s slopes are skiable year-round, making it the perfect destination if you’re craving some skiing or snowboarding mid-summer.

Not only does Hotel Alex offer singles ski packages, but their additional accommodations are simply breathtaking.

Located just a one minute walk from the Gornergrat lift, Hotel Alex has been family run for 50 years, has beautiful indoor swimming pools, exquisite gourmet cuisine and 5 star service. One of the best things about the Alex is that they provide the same, excellent service for solo travelers as they do for couples, families, and groups.

You will definitely never forget your solo ski trip in Switzerland after staying at the Alex.

Tours to Book in Zermatt

Elisabeth Hotel – Austria

If you’re looking for a bit of adventure, culture, and luxury on your next solo ski trip, consider Elisabeth Hotel in Mayrhofen, Austria.

Just 700 meters from the Penken cable car line and lift, you’ll have four different ski areas to choose from during your stay at Elisabeth Hotel.

Whether you’re looking for pistes, cross-country ski trails, toboggan runs or high-quality ski runs, these slopes have it all. Though our favorite aspect of this resort is their custom singles package.

They have both a summer and a winter offer, and both include four nights in a room of your choice, a breakfast buffet, a 50 minute massage, as well as additional add-ons. Elisabeth Hotel also has an Elisense Spa which specializes in Alpine Spa treatments.

There truly is no better way to experience the Alps than to spend the day skiing down the mountains only to then get to relax with a traditional Alpine treatment. Elisabeth Hotel will absolutely create a memorable, adventurous, and relaxing holiday for your next solo ski trip.

Lake Louise Inn – Canada

Known as the best ski resort in all of Canada, Lake Louise Inn is located within Banff National Park and has 4,200 skiable acres and 139 runs.

There are many lodging options throughout the Lake Louise resorts, but our recommendation is to stay at Lake Louise Inn itself, as it is most centrally located and has the best deals and offers for solo travelers.

You will have no problem meeting other solo travelers on this holiday, as they offer a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and swimming pools for your relaxation after a long day on the slopes. One of our favorite things about Lake Louisa Inn is that they actually allow dogs in most of their rooms, making it even more special for you and your furry friends if you decide to bring them along.

Belambra Club – France

If you’re looking for possibly the widest variety of skiing available, then you have to go to Tignes in France. Regardless of your experience level, whether you’re a skier or a snowboarder, or if you want to try glacier skiing or off-piste skiing, you’ll find it all here.

The area, known as Tignes-Val d’Isere, has many resorts to choose from, but we recommend the Belambra Club. We can guarantee that during your time at Tignes-Val d’Isere, you will already be planning your second trip so you can hit all the slopes you didn’t have time for in your first visit!

The Belambra Club itself has seemingly endless activities as well, so once you’re done with the slopes for the day, you’ll have many activities to choose from whether you’re looking to relax or for more adventure.

Since you’re also in an area with several mountain villages and towns, you will have 70 restaurants and bars to choose from, making this one of the absolute best resorts for solo travelers looking to make new friends on their next singles ski holiday.

Whistler Blackcomb – Canada

As one of North America’s most popular ski destinations, Whistler Blackcomb is an excellent choice for your next solo ski trip. The resort is massive, with numerous amount of trails and acres of skiable terrain.

Whether you stay in Whistler Village or at one of the many other lodgings in the area, you’ll find that this resort is extremely solo-friendly. The pedestrian village has over several shops and restaurants for you to explore and relax in.

Many solo travelers find that they make friends easily while at Whistler Blackcomb, as the village is extremely lively and welcoming. The resort also offers a wide variety of lessons and ski schools for all levels, so you can rest assured that you’ll be able to hit the slopes with confidence.

When it comes to booking affordable flights, I love using the Skyscanner App!

Aspen Snowmass – United States

Aspen Snowmass is one of the most popular ski destinations in the United States, and for good reason. The resort has four interconnected mountains with a wide variety of terrain, so regardless of your level, you’ll find trails that are perfect for you.

There are also many different lodging options in Aspen Snowmass, so you can choose something that fits both your budget and your style. The town of Aspen itself is also quite lovely, with many shops and restaurants for you to explore.

It’s the perfect ski trip for solo travelers, as you can find many other solo skiers and snowboarders to explore the mountains with. The resort also offers a variety of ski schools and lessons for all levels, so you can brush up on your skills before hitting the slopes.
